This 7.5" x 10" black and white newswire photo features two of baseball's all-time greats, Joe Dimaggio and Willie mays, as they confer during an exhibition game in which Dimaggio acted as manager of team with Mays as a player. According to the newswire notes, Dimaggio's team won the 3-inning contest 9-2. Original newspaper clipping of the same photo has been neatly taped to reverse and photo is date stamped "Received Examiner Reference Library Jul 20, 1979". Photo is in excellent condition, just having a check mark in pencil on front.
