When Joe Namath guaranteed that the Jets would win Super Bowl III everyone thought he was being brash, everyone that is except his Jets teammates who helped him to fulfill his prediction with a stunning upset victory over the heavily favored Baltimore Colts. Here's the official program from that historic game. This large (120 pages), squarebound program has somehow miraculously survived in virtually unread condition. If fact, it probably wasn't read, as it doesn't appear that the integrity of the spine has even been cracked for reading purposes. It has fresh, square corners and still retains its full cover lustre. The cover colors are bright and 'like-new' and the paper quality is 'white'. The only notable flaws are two very small wrinkles on the front cover (probably there since the binding process?)and a hardly noticeable thin scratch that is several inches long near the bottom right corner of the front cover that is noticeable only upon close inspection and in just the right lighting. Truly a superb copy of this desireable program. Overall, Very Fine condition.
