Original newspaper wire photo depicting Yankee great Joe Dimaggio about to kiss his new bride actress Marilyn Monroe, after Municipal Judge Charles Peery (left) married the couple in San Francisco City Hall the day before. The reverse is stamped with a United Press Associates stamp and also has a newspaper clipping from the printed copy of the same photo in the newspaper and is date stamped Jan. 15, 1954. The photo remains in excellent condition with only a couple minor creases to note. Newspaper artist's touch up is also evident, which was a common practice at the time. A unique shot of Dimaggio and Monroe. Photo measures 6.5" tall x 9" wide.
