Original International Newsreel black and white wire photo, measuring 6" x 8" featuring two Hall of Fame greats of the National League, Charley "Chuck" Klein of the Philadelphia club and Lloyd "Little Poison" Waner of the Pittsburgh club. The Newsreel note affixed to reverse of photo states that Klein had already hit 33 homers that year (more than Babe Ruth at the time) and that Waner lead the league with 15 triples at that point. Date stamp says 8-3-29. The photo has a small edge tear at left border, a tiny corner crease at upper left, a diagonal corner crease at upper right corner and a couple creases across bottom right corner also (these do not break the surface paper, so are only apparent upon close inspection). There is also a little wrippling of paper at bottom edge that is mentioned only for the sake of accuracy.
