Two autographs and a fantastic inscription from "the Georgia Peach", Tyrus R. Cobb. Cobb's black ink finds a perfect home on the title page of the little booklet he wrote for Hillerich & Bradsby about batting in the Major Leagues. The inscription reads, "To Gary Hodrau From His Friend Ty Cobb. Much luck Gary, work and practice and you might be in the Major Leagues, Ty". It should be noted that the cover actually has two words "To Steve", written in Cobb's hand, then crossed out. The booklet itself shows light wear but still displays very nicely, particularly with the photo of Tris Speaker, Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb himself on the page that faces the inscription. The autographed booklet is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
