The nice colors on this cover really stand out. It's the third Superman cover from the famous title and the art was done by Supes' co-creator Joe Shuster. Shuster, Fred Guardineer, Sheldon Moldoff, and Bernard Baily contributed interior art for this pre-1940 issue. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: color touch, pieces added, tear seals, cover cleaned, reinforced." A "Super"-rare issue, with only several having been certified better by CGC to date. Thus, if you're seeking an early Action Comics Superman cover in relatively high-grade, you really don't have alot of options, as there aren't many inexistence to begin with and those that do exist are sitting mostly in the hands of avid collectors who don't seem to be giving them up. Trade offers welcome for this comic.
