This is the last of two issues to be called Captain America's Weird Tales on the cover, and this horror issue certainly brought the long-running superhero series to an unusual end (though the numbering was resumed by Atlas in 1954). The titular host, Captain America, doesn't actually appear in the comic. It's not an easy book to find in any grade -- Gerber gives it a scarcity rating of "7" and thus sells for multiples of guide value in just about any grade. This example has multiple small wrinkles on the covers and a vertical center reading crease that does not break color. The cover colors are very bold and the comic is tight and has no tearing or pieces out, just moderate corner and spine wear and light edge wear. Back cover has some soiling, but no major faults.
