Though the "Big Train" signature on the sweet spot of this Official American League baseball may have faded a fair degree since its application close to eight decades ago and is technically now only a 2/10 in quality, it is nonetheless discernible, and able to fill the empty space that exists in most signed Hall of Fame ball collections. The OAL Ban Johnson baseball on which the signature resides is a valuable commodity in its own right, and it presents gorgeously, with deep, dark stamping. Fellow Hall-of-Famer Stanley "Bucky" Harris' signature also appears on the ball, on the side panel above Walter's and has a quality level that is a couple points higher at 4/10. A well worn original box holds this rare treasure. Ball and box are accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
